Striper Capital of the world, Lake Ouachita is a 40,000+ acre freshwater lake. Impounded by Blakely Mountain Dam, the Ouachita River runs through the Dam and into Lake Hamilton. Lake Hamilton winds it's way through the beautiful city of Hot Springs. The Ouachita River then flows south through Carpenter Dam and into Lake Catherine which is impounded by Remmel Dam. After the Ouachita flows through Remmel Dam it flows south through endless hills and swamps into Lousiana and eventually into the Black River then on to the Mississippi.
